Information & advice Information for professionals Short breaks Inverclyde Carers Centre currently provides a variety of different short breaks and they are as follows: Group Short Break which is for a group of two or more Carers, who are registered with Inverclyde Carers Centre. Mutual Short Break which is for a group of two or more Carers, who are registered with Inverclyde Carers Centre and are registered as caring for each other. Solo Short Break which is for Individual Carers who are registered with Inverclyde Carers Centre. Sitter Service can enable Carers to access social or leisure events, attend health appointments or family celebrations, take a rest in the comfort of their own home or meet up with friends for up to 4 hours per week. Time To Live enables Carers to pursue meaningful activities which give them a break from caring. Approval criteria apply to all our short breaks and this will be discussed with Carers beforehand.
