Inverclyde Carers Centre currently provides a variety of different short breaks and they are as follows:

  • Group Short Break which is for a group of two or more Carers, who are registered with Inverclyde Carers Centre.
  • Mutual Short Break which is for a group of two or more Carers, who are registered with Inverclyde Carers Centre and are registered as caring for each other.
  • Solo Short Break which is for Individual Carers who are registered with Inverclyde Carers Centre.
  • Sitter Service can enable Carers to access social or leisure events, attend health appointments or family celebrations, take a rest in the comfort of their own home or meet up with friends for up to 4 hours per week.
  • Time To Live enables Carers to pursue meaningful activities which give them a break from caring.

Approval criteria apply to all our short breaks and this will be discussed with Carers beforehand.
