Why Register as a Carer?

Inverclyde Carers Centre is a voluntary organisation which is based in Inverclyde. The centre is managed by local people who are or have been Carers themselves.

The main focus is to support Carers through the services we provide, which are specifically designed and free if you reside within the Inverclyde area.

Often Carers don’t recognise themselves in the role that they provide in  supporting a loved one and Carers can also require support. Whether it is a listening ear, advice or information we are here to help.

How to Register?

Registering as a Carer is simple.

It involves a short discussion with a Carer Support Worker to gather your contact details and information about your caring role. It can enable you to keep up to date with key information on what’s going on within the centre or through our partnership working approach. We have a website, Twitter and Facebook page for Carers who want to keep up to date through electronic methods.

Contact us on 01475 735180 to make an appointment to register. We can also provide a home visit to Carers who cannot make it into the centre.

Any Carer living or caring in Inverclyde can register with us.

If you are living or caring for someone outside the area and would like information on a Carers Centre closest to you, please contact the NHS Carer Information line on 0141 353 6504.
