History Inverclyde Carers Centre was established in 2001 as a result of many years campaigning by Inverclyde Carers Council to establish a dedicated support service for Carers. In 2006 a voluntary management committee made up of Carers and former Carers underwent training and took over the running of the centre in its entirety in 2007 when it became a company limited by guarantee, registered with Companies House.
