Support for Carers Emotional support Health & Wellbeing Health and Well-being Project We are excited to share with you our 4-week health and well-being activity program for Carers. This project will have a holistic approach, encompassing well-being, happiness, nutrition, physical activity and the natural environment. Carer’s and the person they care for are welcome to take part in all of the activities. It will be delivered ONLINE through small group activities and 1-1 support, allowing individuals to access a variety of services and learn new skills. Gentle exercise classes Weekly yoga and Pilates classes to improve strength, flexibility and mobility. These will also have a strong element of breathwork and relaxation. Classes will be in the evenings to allow individuals to join after work. Group activities Weekly workshops on topics such as mindfulness, meditation, breathwork, aromatherapy, qi-gong, acupressure and cooking. Materials for workshops will be sent out in advance, allowing you to participate online from the comfort of your home. Classes will be in the evenings to allow individuals to join after work. Walks in nature We would like to encourage individuals to go out for a weekly walk and take pictures of anything that interests them. These can be shared with the group through WhatsApp. 1-1 support Individuals joining in the program can participate in 1 to 1 consultations with our holistic therapist. This offers a unique opportunity for a personalized health and nutrition plan looking at diet, sleep, movement and stress management. Project aims The aim of the project is to bring people together and enhance wellbeing within the community. The activities offered can help individuals manage stress and learn ways they can lead a healthier lifestyle. Our therapist This program will be carried out by our Holistic Therapist, Marianna Doneva, with experience in Yoga, Pilates, Meditation and Stress Management. Our therapist is also a qualified Nutritionist who can offer support with developing healthier eating habits, weight management, food allergies, digestive problems and low energy.
