The Electrical Charity provides practical support services and financial relief to all employees, past employees and/or dependants of employees of the electrical and electronic industry.

It offers a number of programmes:

  • Employee Assistance Programme - to help in times of need including financial assistance, respite breaks for carers, medical support to help people remain independent and an apprentice bursary scheme for apprentices with carer responsibilities.
  • Apprentice Support Programme - providing financial grants and practical assistance to apprentices and their families.
  • Employee and Family Support Programme - a range of services to help with issues such as family or relationship problems, ill health and disability.
  • Pensioner Support Programme - financial grants and assistance services for the retired.
  • Practical Participation Programme - practical assistance such as disability access and installation of equipment.
