Carer Passport

Who is the Carers Passport Card for?

The card is for registered Carers who provide unpaid support to a family member or friend. They may care for an older person, someone who is disabled, has a long term illness, mental health problems or is affected by alcohol or drug misuse.

How do I get the card?

Pop in to Inverclyde Carers Centre, where we will take your picture or you can provide one for the card. The card includes your name, photograph and expiry date and can be used to identify yourself as a Carer and obtain discounts at a range of outlets across Inverclyde.

Is there anything else I need to know?

The Carers Passport Card can only be used by the named cardholder and cannot be transferred. Please let us know if you change any of your contact details.

If you lose your card, please contact us and we will send you a new card for a replacement fee of £5.00. If you experience any difficulties using your card at local venues, or if you know of any local businesses that would be willing to offer a Carers Passport Card discount, please contact us. We welcome the support of our participating retailers but please note that we are not recommending or endorsing any of the businesses listed.
