New £7.4 million Learning Disability Community Hub

News from Inverclyde HSCP regarding the new Learning Disability Community Hub.

“Hello everyone,

I am delighted to announce that following the Council budget meeting on 12 March 2020, we have secured £7.4 million to build a new Learning Disability Community Hub on the former site of Hector McNeil Swimming Pool on Inverkip Road, Greenock.

We are really excited about this fantastic development that will take approximately 2 years from planning to completion.
We have lots of work to do in the coming year in designing the building and grounds with the architects before construction begins. We want to ensure that you as parents and carers, alongside the service users and staff are fully involved  in this process.

Our team are in the process of setting up some information sessions for you in April 2020 to which you will be invited. In the meantime, if you have any questions please contact Lorraine Harrison or Heather Simpson on 01475  715800.

Thank you and here’s to the next chapter…”

Best wishes,

Allen Stevenson
