Inverclyde Carers Centre are excited to announce a new opportunity to work with us.  Scottish Government recognises that Young Unemployed Carers aged 16-29 face additional barriers to gaining and sustaining employment which is why they have been selected as one of only 5 specific groups of young people who are eligible to apply.

(Outreach Project)

AP3 – £20,602

7 hours per week  

Your role as Sessional Carer Support Worker will be to identify and support hidden Carers who find it difficult to access support services from the Carers Centre in Greenock. The Outreach Project provides information, advice and support through home visits, community based surgeries and local events.

These roles involve direct work with young people and PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland will be required if appointed.
