We are looking for a Carer Support Assistant to work in our Centre in Greenock.

Community Jobs Scotland (CJS) creates work opportunities for young unemployed people within third sector organisations throughout Scotland.

CJS is targeted at more vulnerable young people and in particular, is focused on groups of young people who are more disadvantaged in the labour market.

7 hours per week

Your role as Sessional Carer Support Worker will be to identify and support hidden Carers who find it difficult to access support services from the Carers Centre in Greenock. The Outreach Project provides information, advice and support through home visits, community based surgeries and local events.

These roles involve direct work with young people and PVG scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland will be required if appointed.
