My name is Paula Wood and I am a Carer Support Worker with the Outreach Project at Inverclyde Carers Centre. My role is to identify and then support the hidden Carers in Inverclyde. This is achieved through community based activities and events, including the twelve different surgeries I hold over a month, right across Inverclyde.  These enable Carers who aren't able to visit the centre to access the same information, advice and support as others.  I also support Carers by providing opportunities for them to make links with their communities and to feel socially included. If it’s just a listening ear you’re after, I’m here for that too. If you are struggling to attend the centre or one of the outreach surgeries, I can make a home visit.
