My name is Les and I’ve been a member of the board of Inverclyde Carers Centre since 2008. Becoming a Carer is a challenging experience and the Carer Centre provided advice and support, as well as an opportunity to meet others in a similar position.

Volunteering as a trustee is a rewarding experience, where trustees work together for the benefit of Carers. We provide strategic management and direction while ensuring the charity does what it was set up to do.

I hope we can make a positive difference to the wellbeing of Carers, by enhancing their quality of life, empowering and helping them realise their value and contribution.”
